Is there a holiday for the first of June? I missed May day; I think there was gassing in the streets somewhere. And now I'm coming up hard on the big 30 and the premature termination of my employ in Santiago, with little motivation to make plans for a celebration; trying to wrap up my report on Haiti (not for the company that fired me), do some investigative reporting on the themes of architecture and the environment in Santiago, and prepare a 2 month travel plan that ends with beginning graduate school.
Figure this one out for me: If you add the ages of a fox and a hen together, you get 91. The fox is now twice the age the hen was when the fox was as old as the hen is now.
